The Secret Garden is a classic children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, first published in 1911. The story follows Mary Lennox, a spoiled and lonely girl who is sent to live with her uncle at his gloomy mansion in England after the death of her parents. There, she discovers a hidden, neglected garden and begins to restore it with the help of new friends.
