Pickwick papers was the first book that Charles wrote. His first publication was "Sketches by Boz." His publishers then asked him to make a series of comics and connect them into a novel. It was a phemomenon. The story follows Samuel Pinwick and his traveling companions, Nathaniel Winkle, Augustus Snodgrass, and Tracy Tupman on many adventures.
