The Mystery of Edwin Drood" by Charles Dickens was originally published in serialized installments staring in April 1870 intended to be released in twelve parts, but remained unfinished due to Dickens' sudden death in June of the same year, leaving only six installments completed; essentially, the novel was only half-finished when he passed away, making the mystery of Edwin Drood's fate the central unsolved question of the story. This copy is the bound installments.

Brown boards with red canvas spine and gilt lettering on the spine. Compiled clippings with some minimal browning and foxing throughout. Very good condition for the nature of the binding. Unique green leather covered slipcase to house the book.
