Description

Bound in smooth, blue leather with raised bands, yellow & grey sewn endbands, marbled paste downs/end papers, marbled edges of textblock, gold tooling around edges of cover, gold titling and decorations on spine, and along outside edges of cover, blind tooling on inside edges of cover, pictorial illustration of Tennyson at front. Leather on spine faded to grey/green by sun, one gouge mark at bottom of front cover with minimal scrapes and scratches otherwise, leather at head of spine covering headband has tears allowing it to pop up a bit, textblock intact without any visible damage or wear.
