1846 Holy Bible
5B, Oxford University Press. 1843
Notes
A finely preserved 1846 edition of the Holy Bible, printed by Oxford University Press and bound in original black leather. 8vo. The binding features blind-stamped borders, five raised bands, and gilt detailing on the spine reading "Holy Bible. / Master C.A./De/Rothschild.". The leather remains in excellent condition with minor rubbing at the corners and spine ends, consistent with age. Gilt paper edges still in vibrant condition. Waxed light yellow endpapers. The interior is clean, with legible text and minimal foxing, and all pages are complete.

A handsome and well-preserved volume, ideal for collectors or those seeking a beautifully bound 19th-century Bible.
