A Far Better Thing - 11 x 15 Unframed Canvas Giclee

$99.99

5 W 11 x 15 canvas print of Charles Dickens with characters from his novels.

Charles Dickens with some of his favorite novels. Charles was greatly influenced in his writing by the following 3 things:  the Orphans, his family and our Savior Jesus Christ. His novels share the Best of Times and the Worst of Times through many of the hardships these orphans and others will experience by life’s trials and lessons learned to become a better version of themselves.

You can see many of his characters in this painting, Oliver, Miss Havisham, Tiny Tim and Mr. Scrooge, and others from the Christmas Carol, David Copperfield, Sidney from The Tale of Two Cities, and the beloved Pickwick Papers gang.

On his writing desk you will see a family portrait, a rendition of Rembrandt’s Christ, and a caricature representing the orphans he often weaved his stories around. Each of his stories represent the goodness of man when faced with trials and the behavior they might have fallen into that would not be as Christlike as they could have been, and the happiness they will find in “Good Will Towards All Men”.
