Notes
Adventures in Good Eating is a travel and dining guide by Duncan Hines, first published in 1935. Hines, originally a traveling salesman, compiled this book to share his recommendations on where to find quality food across America. It lists restaurants known for good food and service, organized by state, and became a trusted resource for travelers before the era of chain restaurants and fast food. Hines later expanded his brand to include packaged foods, building on the reputation for quality established by this guide.
