Book of Mormon
5b, Fourth Electrotype Edition Kansas City, Mo 1902
Notes
The Book of Mormon is a sacred text of the Latter-day Saint movement, published by Joseph Smith in 1830. It is regarded by its followers as a companion to the Bible, containing the religious history of ancient civilizations in the Americas. The book narrates the journey of a group of Israelites who fled Jerusalem around 600 B.C., their eventual arrival in the Americas, and their dealings with God. Central themes include faith in Jesus Christ, divine revelation, and the struggle between good and evil. For Latter-day Saints, it is considered another testament of Jesus Christ.
