Quote
"The safest road to Hell is the gradual one—the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts."
Note
"The Screwtape Letters" is a captivating and thought-provoking work by C.S. Lewis, presented as a series of letters from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his nephew and apprentice demon, Wormwood. In these letters, Screwtape offers advice on how to tempt and corrupt a human soul. Through the clever use of satire and wit, Lewis explores the nuances of human weakness, the subtleties of moral choices, and the spiritual battle between good and evil.
