The Bible in Irish Gaelic printed in old Irish script in double columns. The first Irish translation of the New Testament was in 1602 and in 1685, the Old Testament in Irish translated by William Bedell appeared.

Description 

Brown leather binding with title embossed in gold on the spine with four bands of gold. Embossed design on front and back covers. Head and foot of the spine have spots of chipping. Last page is loose and inside the front cover there is a paste down library label of C. M. College Library Bala. Overall nice copy.
