Description

Live and Let Die is a 1973 James Bond film starring Roger Moore in his debut as the iconic British spy. Based on Ian Fleming’s 1954 novel of the same name, the film follows Bond as he investigates the mysterious deaths of several British agents, leading him to a Caribbean drug lord named Dr. Kananga, who plans to flood the U.S. with free heroin. Blending action, voodoo mysticism, and blaxploitation influences, the film is notable for its distinctive style, memorable characters like Solitaire and Baron Samedi, and Paul McCartney’s hit theme song.
