The Millennial Star was a periodical published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1840 to 1871. It was one of the first official church publications and played a significant role in disseminating church teachings and news among early Latter-day Saints. There is a range of content relevant to the LDS Church during that time included such as Church News and Announcements, Editorials and Sermons, Theological Essays, Missionary Reports, and Historical Articles reflecting the ongoing development of the church’s teachings and organization during a period of growth and expansion.

Description

Dark blue pebble leather hardcover with dark brown leather corners and spine. Four raised bands, gold embossed lettering on the spine, and red speckled fore edges. Leather sections are work down in places to a caramel color and cracking along the spine. Good condition overall.
