The Millennial Star was a periodical published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1840 to 1871. It was one of the first official church publications and played a significant role in disseminating church teachings and news among early Latter-day Saints.

In Volume 46 of the Millennial Star, published in 1884 there is a range of content relevant to the LDS Church during that time such as Church News and Announcements, Editorials and Sermons, Theological Essays, Missionary Reports, and Historical Articles reflecting the ongoing development of the church’s teachings and organization during a period of growth and expansion.

Description

Purple canvas hardcover with black leather corners and spine. Seven gold embossed bands on the spine and gold lettering. Red speckled fore edges and wear down to the wood boards on the leather corners bottom of the spine. Cracking along the spine from wear and brown spot about an inch above the bottom on the last twenty or so pages that seeps less than a quarter inch onto the page. Good condition overall.
