B, 1778 Swedish Bible

The translation was heavily influenced by Martin Luther's German Bible and was originally commissioned by King Gustav I of Sweden in the 16th century. This 1778 edition reflects the language and orthographic standards of its time, and would have been used both for personal devotion and public worship.
