Published by George Allen & Unwin, the book retains its original green cloth binding with blue lettering on the spine and Smaug illustration on the front cover. The green cloth board binding is in good condition with some fading and spotting on the spine. Includes the famous maps of Middle-earth as endpapers. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with minimal shelf wear and slight fading to the spine. Pages are clean and crisp, free from any markings, highlighting, or damage.
