The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien is a high-fantasy epic set in the fictional world of Middle-earth. Originally published in three volumes—The Fellowship of the Ring (1954), The Two Towers (1954), and The Return of the King (1955)—the story follows the quest to destroy the One Ring, a powerful artifact created by the Dark Lord Sauron. The central character, Frodo Baggins, is tasked with carrying the Ring to Mount Doom, where it can be destroyed. Along the way, he is joined by a fellowship of companions, including Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, and Samwise Gamgee. The novel explores themes of friendship, sacrifice, power, and the struggle between good and evil, blending rich mythology, language, and world-building. Brightly colored paperback book with orange lettering on the front cover and yellow spine. Slight bending to the lower right hand corner of the first 100 or so pages. Color fading on edges of spine and some staining and wear to bottom of the spine. Great condition overall.
