Mildly tarnished gold metal case with red canvas on the front including gold embossed lettering and a small magnifying glass set in the center. Red leather binding with gilt detailing on the front board and spine with gilt letters on the cover and spine as well. Several illustrations throughout. Working clasp on case. Very good condition.
