Thumbelina is a fairy tale originally by Hans Christian Andersen about a tiny girl born from a flower. She is kidnapped by various creatures who want her as a bride, including a toad and a mole, but she escapes each time. Eventually, she finds a home among the flower-fairies and marries a kind prince her own size, finding happiness and belonging.
